Qld: Nuttall memo referred to CMC

BRISBANE, Feb 23 AAP - A controversial memo sent by former Queensland health minister
Gordon Nuttall to a departmental head will be referred to the Crime and Misconduct Commission
(CMC).

ABC Radio reports that Nuttall, who faces charges of receiving corrupt payments from
prominent businessman, allegedly sent a memo to his director general when he left the
health portfolio calling for certain projects to be followed through.

Premier Peter Beattie said he had no recollection of seeing the memo, which was found
in the health department yesterday.
