Swm: British protest after Price injured in pool
British team officials will protest to the International Olympic Committee after swimmer
SARAH PRICE gashed her legs in a pool minutes before the start of her 100 metres backstroke
semi-final.
PRICE, sporting cuts on both shins, finished last in her race.
During her warm up 35 minutes before her race, PRICE jumped on what British team officials
belive was an underwater camera.
The British team had appealed unsuccessfully to have the schedule changed to give PRICE
time to recover.
British team manager CRAIG HUNTER says he'll raise the issue with the IOC.
He says the race wasn't fair for PRICE.
PRICE says she didn't see the camera because of the light reflection.
She says she jumped on it, splitting open the side of her leg.
