Vic; Police and union heads to meet in secret talks-2

The meeting is said to be under way in Mr HAERMEYER'S office.

Meanwhile, more police stations are expected to close overnight as officers maintain
their work bans to highlight what they claim are resource problems in the force.

Eight stations closed during night shift last night and station closures may extend
to other shifts, particularly in country areas if the industrial action continues.
